Diane M Palomba

Diane is a 13th generation Cape Codder.

Born at Falmouth Hospital, she grew up in Hyannis and was a graduate of Barnstable High School.

She now lives in South Yarmouth

Family Roots.

Diane’s family roots go back to the late 1600’s. She is a direct descendent of Tristrem Coffin, who came from England and settled in Ipswich. He then aligned with other investors who went on to be the original purchasers of Nantucket island.

Since then her family has lived on both Cape Cod and Nantucket.

Love of the craft.

Photography has been a passion starting at an early age. It wasn’t until 2009 when she purchased her first DSLR that the passion grew to where it is now.

Subjects.

It started with a love of the outdoors in general. Bugs, butterflies and bees along with with flowers and plant life became favorite subjects. This grew into general coastal landscape and eventually into wildlife.

Ethics.

Diane has a deep respect for all animal and plant life. She does her best not the disturb an area while taking photos. She always keeps a respectable distance from all wildlife and never “baits” or “flushes” just for a shot.
